Join the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for a free Community Health Screening Event in Birmingham on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club. From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, attendees can receive a wide range of free health services including breast exams, kidney and lung screenings, blood pressure and sugar checks, dental and vision exams, mental health resources, and vaccinations—no insurance required. After the screenings, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, enjoy a hot catered lunch by Kathy G & Co during LLS’s Blood Cancer Education Program, with vital information and Visa gift card raffles. This community event includes free food, music, giveaways, and a “Health Passport” to guide participants through services and connect them with follow-up care. Brought to you in collaboration with the Divine 9 and local partners, the event is part of NMQF’s mission to reduce health disparities and advance health equity in underserved communities.
