National Minority Quality Forum Names Mary Murray Vice President of Collaborative Action Networks

WASHINGTON, DC- National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) announced today that Mary Stober Murray, MPH, has been named Vice President of Collaborative Action Networks.

In her role, Ms. Murray will lead multi-stakeholder collaborative networks to improve population health using actionable research, data science, education and advocacy.

“I am excited to be a part of the NMQF team, especially at this pivotal time,” Murray stated. “As health disparities, racial justice, and COVID-19 dominate our conversations, NMQF demonstrates the visionary leadership and collaboration capability we need to reimagine health care in policy and practice so we can deliver safe, relevant and accessible therapies to our diverse population. I am honored to join in this effort with the talented NMQF team.” 

Ms. Murray helps partners leverage NMQF’s Patient Advocacy Learning Community platform, Indexes, Working Groups, and other resources as they design and implement operational activities that aim to improve the health of medically underserved populations.

“I know Mary will do much to move the needle and assist our partners in getting care to the communities that so desperately need health solutions,” says Dr. Gary Puckrein, President and CEO of NMQF. “Mary’s work will be vital to NMQF as we work on our mission to reduce patient risk.”

Before joining NMQF, Ms. Murray held a clinical development operations role at Bristol-Myers Squibb. While there, she focused on delivering positive patient experience outcomes and diverse representation in clinical trials through creative and collaborative approaches to patient engagement. 

Ms. Murray earned a Master’s degree in Population Health from Thomas Jefferson University, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
