We’ll talk about:
- How nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress can affect overall health
- Health risks that can be associated with obesity
- Building realistic, healthy habits
- Making informed choices that support long-term health
- Small changes that can make a difference over time
Mental Health
Your mental health is an important part of your overall health.
We’ll have an open, judgment-free conversation about:
- Stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being
- Recognizing when you or someone you care about may need support
- Healthy ways to cope with stress
- The importance of asking for help
- Community resources and support

The experience will incorporate Lumbee perspectives and values, trusted community voices, culturally respectful information, and opportunities for family and community dialogue.
Our goal is to create a space that feels welcoming, respectful, interactive, and judgment-free.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is designed for Lumbee young adults who want to learn more about their health and make informed choices for themselves and their families.
No previous health knowledge is required.
Come with questions. Come ready to participate. Come as you are.
Approximately 50 participants will be invited to take part, so early registration is encouraged.
