Audio Recordings: Native Community Perspectives from Lumbee Tribe Powwow – September 2025

Recorded during the September 2025 Lumbee Tribe Powwow at UNC Pembroke, Native Community Perspectives on Health and Well-Being captures firsthand reflections from Lumbee community members on health, caregiving, and daily life in rural Native communities. Through personal stories and lived experiences, speakers describe challenges related to poverty, chronic disease, mental health, transportation, and limited access to care, while also emphasizing the importance of trust, cultural understanding, and community-led solutions.
